Chad – Master Plumber/Service Manager

I started my “summer job” in plumbing and construction in 1994 after my first year of college. I was looking for a job, but what began as a summer opportunity quickly turned into a rewarding career. What I didn’t realize at the time was how much I would enjoy an industry where I could use my skills to help people.

I have been with Andy’s Pipe Dream since 2010, transitioning from working in the field to my current role as Service Manager. My responsibilities include supporting our field technicians, managing inventory, overseeing truck maintenance, and, most importantly, reviewing every completed job for accuracy and quality.

I believe this level of oversight is an important part of what makes our work stand out. Every job our technicians complete is reviewed to help ensure the work was done correctly, the details are accurate, and the customer receives the quality of service we expect.

Although I still enjoy working on site with customers, the most satisfying part of my role is supporting our field technicians and helping them develop the skills and knowledge they need to become great plumbers. I take pride in mentoring our team and making sure they have the support they need to deliver consistent, high-quality work on every job.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, designing and prototyping ideas with my 3D printer, and exploring fine dining restaurants throughout the Kansas City metro.
