Leah – Service Technician
I’m a dispatcher at Andy’s Pipe Dream, where I have the opportunity to help people every day. With a four-year degree from Cornell College and a background in nonprofit work, I’ve always been drawn to work that is centered around helping others.
What I enjoy most about being a dispatcher is building trust with our customers. Whether someone is dealing with a plumbing emergency and needs answers quickly, or an older customer needs a little extra reassurance about having someone new come into their home, I want them to feel heard, safe, and confident in our work. I also enjoy getting to know our technicians—their strengths, personalities, and the work they enjoy most—so I can connect them with the customers they’re best suited to help.
One of the things I value most about Andy’s Pipe Dream is that we’re a small, family-owned business with a genuine focus on helping people. I appreciate that we’re guided by core principles and that doing right by the customer comes before maximizing profit. I’m proud to be part of a team that believes good service starts with treating people with honesty, respect, and care.
